“Our documentaries (Pricele$$, Empty Oceans, Farming the Seas) have reached innumerable viewers thanks to Regina’s hard work, and it’s great working with someone who believes good films can make positive change!”

“Regina Eisenberg is a fantastic PBS station relations consultant.  I couldn’t be happier that we chose to go with R Eisenberg Presents for Fighting For Life. Regina has the experience, the contacts, the credibility, the passion, the energy and the organization to do a superb job and she does it.”

image012“For most of my thirty years as a documentary producer, I have not used a station relations representative in promoting my shows to PBS stations – a significant mistake. In the past two years, I have chosen Regina Eisenberg to represent me on three of my documentaries to increase the possibility of increasing the number of airings (carriage) on PBS stations.  She has more than met my expectations. Throughout the PBS distribution process I have found her to be highly knowledgeable of what it takes to gain the eye of programmers – most of whom she seems to have a direct personal relationship –  highlighting my program’s merits, regularly following through with stations over a several month period, and giving me timely updated reports on how things are progressing.    What stands out the most, is that when Regina takes on a program she firmly believes in its value, and the value it holds for those who might view it. In addition, she is accessible, gives honest feedback, and works tirelessly to give my programs the best chance possible to reach a wide audience. I highly recommend her services.”

image015“Thank you, Regina for everything you have done for us over these last two months. We knew you would be good because you came so highly recommended. You have been tremendous! From your deep knowledge of the PBS system and your tireless effort on our behalf to your upbeat attitude and friendly manner, we simply could not have asked for a better station relations person. You also have a wonderful balance of diplomacy and persuasiveness and that must be critical to working successfully with PBS programmers. The results say it all!! Thank you!!”
Kate Browne & Ginny Martin, Producers, Still Waiting: Life After Katrina

image002Regina’s results were beyond our wildest dreams!  Her dedication, savvy, and experience gave us more than double the carriage we expected for our very low-budget, passion project, HUMBLE BEAUTY.  Regina gets our highest recommendation.

Haydn Reiss Producer, “Every War Has Two Losers” and “Rumi: Poet of the Heart”

“Regina Eisenberg did a superlative job for us as our station relations representative for the one-hour documentary film, Xavier: Missionary & Saint. She has an expansive knowledge of the PBS system from decades of experience in syndication and distribution, and she has authentic and long-term relationships with PBS programmers and schedulers across the nation.  It’s easy to see why; she only represents top-quality programs and she is extremely professional in her approach to the business.  We anxiously look forward to our next PBS syndication project with Regina.”

image021“Working with Regina is an honor and a pleasure. Her knowledge of Public Television and how to best place our show has far exceeded my initial expectations. Because of Regina’s thoughtful vision, my show is highly successful and still going strong. Regina has been instrumental in making the show available all over America. She is a dream to work with, while always getting things done on time. I would like to add that Regina took on my show four years ago when vegan and vegetarian shows were not getting notice. Regina continues to market my show in an outstanding manner, and she has been instrumental in the overall success of the program. I highly recommend Regina!”
Laura Theodore, Creator/Host/Producer of Jazzy Vegetarian.

There Is a Bridge“I reached out to Regina Eisenberg to increase the number of PBS stations agreeing to carry a documentary I produced.  The theme of the documentary related to Alzheimer’s disease, but our approach to the disease diverges significantly from the way it is typically framed for the general public.  Whereas the default setting for depicting dementia is set to gloom…, our approach centers on the kinds of relationship-driven healing that can occur with or without a cure….

“All of this to say: I had a significant marketing challenge when introducing our documentary,There Is a Bridge, to PBS stations.  And it was because of this challenge that I sought out someone who could advocate to program managers directly on behalf of the documentary….I knew I needed someone who could reach the ear of program managers and, that reached, communicate…at the same level and degree of nuance that went into the documentary’s creation.

“My research led me—by very strong recommendation—to Regina Eisenberg.  How fortunate I am to have found and now worked with Regina.  She devoted her attention to every aspect of the documentary…, with intelligence, genuine curiosity, and unflagging patience.  Communicating with her through telephone and e-mail assured me that she was a superb communicator.  And indeed she is….Regina’s direct contact to station managers, her careful charting of the on-going relationships she was building with each decision-maker, and her consistent communication with me on her progress explains the lion’s share of the remarkably generous way There Is a Bridge was received throughout the country.

She is a consummate professional.  We are currently completing our next documentary.  Regina Eisenberg Productions, Inc. will lead its dissemination into the PBS universe.  She is my secret weapon.”
